  1. What a great idea to share these links! I never thought about them having books on racism, I don’t know why, I just haven’t. My grandkids are mixed and we have had so many conversations with what is going on today. They are being brought up to know we are all equal and they just don’t comprehend racism. Being white myself, it’s difficult for me to explain the hatred as I have none. Maybe these books could give me some insight to help them understand better. They are young, 5 & 9 but my 9 year old is asking a lot of questions.

I think some of these books could definitely help with talking to your grandkids (in fact, there are anti-racist books specifically for kids too, although I don’t think any were included on these lists).
