Bloganuary Day 20: What Is Your Dream Job?

What is my dream job? Nothing, because there’s no such thing as dream job. As soon as you start doing something you love as a job, it ceases to be anything but work, and I don’t think anyone dreams of working.

That said, some jobs will suit you more than others. For me, I’ve wanted to write most of my life, so writing is as close to a dream job as I can get. Sometimes I wish I could be an artist, but I don’t have the skills or spark that you need for that (words are my thing, not images). I’ve also thought a lot about running a farm for rescued animals, but there are a number of reasons why that won’t happen, not least because I’m very much a city person.
