Flickering lantern

Tenuous light draws you in

And never lets go

Aspasía S. Bissas

For this haiku I was inspired by will o’ the wisps– the flickering lights that have been known to lure nighttime travellers to their doom. There’s a mundane explanation for the lights, but I prefer the stories of fae folk playing tricks. Is there a “fairy tale” that inspires you? Share in the comments…

If poetry isn’t your thing, check out my fiction…
