Hi There, We loved your post but could not get past the password situation on WordPress ugh. The pictures were utterly fantastic!! They made me remember our four cats and the funny spaces they would curl up in. Z.

Sorry about the password issue! People have complained about that before, but WordPress doesn’t seem interested in doing anything about it. Glad you enjoyed the photos, though. Cats will always find the coziest/most interesting places to nap 🙂

Alas, several of my books have been ruined by cats scratching the spines to shreds 😦 but, to be fair, not as many as they might have got 😉

Oh no! I’m so glad my cats don’t go after my books. It’s good you can look on the bright side, though– it can always be worse 🙂

Ha, well, I can be casual about it now but when those things happened, I was very annoyed. I guess that’s the risk you run with books at floor level 😦

It’s very unpredictable what cats will show an interest in (I think all cat people know the pain of something they care about being destroyed). Lower shelves might be best reserved for magazines and (unbreakable) objets d’art 😦

CDs were another favourite! They would sometimes leap from the window sill to the top of the rack and walk down it in a cascade of discs 😦

My SO’s family cat used to knock valuable ceramic figurines off tables and shelves. Once they decide they like something, there isn’t much we can do, unfortunately. Try to focus on all the good they bring into our lives– they’re pretty adorable, even when they’re being jerks 🙂

Lol yes! Cats and dogs have about the same intelligence as a 2 to 3-year-old child, so that makes sense 🙂
